I was at a party a couple weekends back and the DJ played a housey track that sampled Barrington Levy (or someone that sounds just like him) that I’d heard on Bandcamp, passed on and then was blown away when I heard it loud in a proper setting.
When I asked the DJ what tune he played that sampled Barrington Levy he gave me a blank stare….I don’t think he knew who I was referring to.
I’ll admit I really didn’t want to like the track at first but the big rig, the dancing, the summery vibes…and the acid made it all sound niiicey nice, seen?
LOL! If anyone has any leads on my vague description of the track, please post!!
