Have you come across any other spoken word or rap-enhanced bangers of late?
Although it hasn’t happened very often, I might throw in the odd one in my sets. But one is usually enough, and it ought to be good. Kool Rock Steady’s “I’ll Make You Dance” is a favourite in that category. And of course Jungle Brothers “I’ll House You”, but that’s hardly a hip house track, more like a house track with a rap over it. The acapella will set fire to any party, anywhere.
