Protek Mania starts here….
The drum break is crackers. The sleeve has got stickers on to patch up spelling mistakes. The label is made from felt. Brilliant release.
That’s GREAT! Absolutely love it…
Obsessed with this.
Great tune. I got that on vinyl after hearing it on a DJhistory user mix.
Spotted this track in a Kenny Carpenter’s mix (think it’s from early 2000’s).
It has always had an intimate vibe to me, the kind of thing only music can convey
… and this one is from a mix that I should have on CD, lost on some dusty shelf… the only thing I remember is that I’ve d/led from DHP, back in the time, but the track has always been wandering around me since then
My partner listens to a lot of punky stuff. This was a recent stand-out for me. Love the video too. It reminds me of Ray Bradbury’s Illustrated Man.
this track has definitely been making a comeback this year!
All of Depeche Mode.
Not getting into them in my teens/20s has become the biggest musical regret of my life.
Another ‘new’ old fave that Steve KIW reminded me of on his excellent radio show last night - an edit of which can be found on here Everything You re About To Hear Is True Vinyl & CDs for sale - Juno Records
Some old skool from… 2019
This makes me wanna move all around, great old vibes
Just discovered that I have a cover of that track, perhaps not as good as Hallins original, but still a great tune:
Most of my recent new old discoveries have been from this forum. Here’s the only one that isn’t. No idea how well known this is or not, but I think it’s lovely.
