Not been over for ages and over in 3 weeks, Know about Cafe Balearica and Two Doors Down. Is there anywhere else for a night out with decent music and relaxed vibe?
The Good Room in BKLN has a nice restaurant adjacent to the club with nice music. V relaxed vibe there. Think it’s vegan or vegetarian but the food’s really good.

Bill, I think you were referring to the resto/bar/listening room attached to Public Records, correct? Tasty vegan food, good drinks, brand-name DJs from NYC and beyond - a bit pricey but if you’re looking for something a bit more upscale, it’s a good option

On the other end of the spectrum, there’s Good Bar, which has the same owner as Good Room - lots of local spinners spinning more kind of back-to-mine sets, fairly cheap bar food - it’s kind of as close an equivalent we have to the Gun over here

And there’s Eavesdrop - kind of upscale, gets people like Justin Strauss and Ivan Berko on a regular basis, food and drinks are quite good. Like Good Room (and Good Bar), it’s in Greenpoint

Funnily enough I stumbled upon Good Bar on a very hot afternoon last Saturday - they had great music playing on the speakers in the outdoor bit (no djs playing at that point), can imagine it is a top place in the evenings.
