Trying to find song title and artist:
LYRICS: Too many times, just when it’s getting hot, I turn to stone and nearly blow the lock. Don’t ask me why; I’ll tell you the reason: who is the one who gives me such confusion? Oh, give me something I can’t remember. Oh, give me something I won’t dismember. Oh, give me something I can’t remember. Oh, give me something I won’t dismember.
It’s a dance song that was played in a dance mix in USA on WBMX-FM by “Mickey Mixin’ Oliver” on March 21 1986. Please help, None of the music recognition apps can decode it. I have a portion of the recorded song, if needed.
Do you have a link to the mix in question, and at what time this track is played?
Chance is quite big that the track was played by other Chicago radio DJs at the time too, and that there might be track lists laying around that could help solve the mystery.
Here is the track listing, minus the 3rd song that I’m trying to find.
Mini-Mix aired on WBMX in Chicago on 3-21-1986 @ 12pm
Track listing:
- Colonel Abrams- I’m Not Gonna Let
- Sweet Pea Atkinson- Dance Or Die
