Heaviest funky rock bangers

I’d have to disagree and suggest you check Soul Stripper from the Jailbreak 74 EP

There’s a fab edit from Basso floating around the interweb.

I did an edit of that many years ago. I’ll post it next time I’m near my laptop.

Just discovered (and purchased) this today. Hard to know which one to pick off the album. It seems to get progressively weirder. This one splits the difference between funky and spacey. And his vocals fit his image. Wild!

Madison, Wisconsin street musician. Hadn’t heard a recording and that is fantastic

Glad you liked it. I’m very impressed and a bit obsessed with him right now.

Thanks so much for sharing the article. I was searching all over today, trying to figure out who he was.

Pretty sure he’s a friend of a friend. I’ll find out

I had it wrong. My buddy knows Art Paul Schlosser, one of the other guys mentioned in the article I posted, not UFO Jim.

That is hilariously demented. Trailer park funk!

He’s got that line about State Street right at the beginning, but it never registered with me that it could be the State Street in Madison. On Wisconsin! (But I’m a gopher )

He gets right up to Weird Al, or even Wesley Willis and Wild Man Fischer, territory. But he has such a complete, fascinating vision.

As heavy funky rock goes, I think this takes some beating. Worth mentioning that they were an all-female 4-piece.
