Behind The Goal - All Things Football

Respect to the fish-finger boys. Gave a good account of themselves today.

Amazing comeback that was yesterday Bill! Celtic at home today for us, still got PTSD from the 9-0 defeat last time round :flushed:

They led at half-time. Deserved the draw. Worked their socks off.

Losing 2-0 to Celtic due to 5 minutes of madness defensively is one thing, but we had 2 shots on target and 27% possession so what did we expect :see_no_evil::see_no_evil:

Saw the first goal, bit of a daft one to concede really.

Keeper had a nightmare there

Speaking of United, this amused me from last week.

Haha nothing like coming home from Qatar then struggling for the 1st half against a University team to keep you grounded

Man Utd fan here - I’m sure ill be hated for that lol. Apart from other Man Utd fans of course! I think I am in love with Casemiro.

Started that Wrexham documentary last night. Was obviously keeping an eye on the match yesterday too - so close! Still a chance but less likely now.

I can’t remember who it was, but there was a pundit who recently said Messi probably wouldn’t stand out in EFL Div One. I fully understood what he meant.

Watched him play against us at Tannadice in a pre-season friendly in 2008. We went 1-0 up first half then Thierry Henry levelled it. Messi came off the bench after half time to sort things out and scored a hat-trick. It was actually a joy to watch it up close.

Anyway it was a friendly and our record of Played 4 Won 4 against Barcelona in competitions remains intact. Look it up :sunglasses:

The closest I got to him was when Adidas flew him onto Hackney Marshes. But I didn’t know about it until after it had happened.

Close enough really :joy::joy:

Actually, now I think of it, I passed up opportunity to go to football on the one occasion I visited Barcelona. Daft!

Think I’ll listen to replay on the wireless.

Them prices are a wee bit heavy, no? Jesus

9 hours doesn’t sound much fun either.

In Scottish news, we missed a penalty and then got tossed immediately on the rebound.

Who’d be a football fan? As a wise man -@GrimsbyRiviera - said to me earlier today.

I was there, it was insane. And as a Brighton fan to see Mac Allister playing like that was incredible. The next match I saw after the final was beating Liverpool 3-0! It’s been a decent couple of months for me
